New to the Clinic?
Welcome to Parade Chiropractic, we will aim to make you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.
Your First Visit
Your first visit will involve talking through your health history, in order to identify your health goals, and to make sure our office is the right place for you. This will be followed by a physical examination to determine the cause of your health issues, and assess the health of your spine.
The physical exam will involve Chiropractic, Orthopaedic and Neurological assessments as well as a Postural assessment. If required, your Chiropractor will refer you for x-ray imaging, which is bulk billed through Medicare.
This visit is about gathering all the information necessary and is an important step in determining your best course of care. You can expect this first visit to last approximately 40 minutes.
Your Second Visit
On your second visit, we will provide you with an individual written report, where you will have Chiropractic explained further, what was found and any other questions answered. An individual plan will be recommended to you and you will receive your first Chiropractic Adjustment (treatment). A re-examination date will also be set for the future to repeat any tests and map out your progress to date. You will want to allow approximately 30 minutes for this visit.
Regularly scheduled appointments will typically last 15 minutes. After you check in, you’ll take a seat, cool down and relax your body in preparation for your specific Chiropractic adjustment.
At each visit, we’ll perform a quick check of your spine before performing the adjustments and care specific to your care plan. We’ll also discuss your role in your health and healing – and teach you what you can do to get better results, faster.
We teach our patients the “3 Pronged Approach to Faster Relief”
- Keep a rhythm of adjustments
- Break bad habits that lead to spinal problems
- Add specific exercises to strengthen the spine and help you hold your adjustments better
We find that patients appreciate being able to take an active role in their health, especially when that gets them better and faster results.
We’ll work together to ensure that you are on your way to living a healthier lifestyle, free from pain and sickness. We can often accommodate same day appointments for acute cases to help you prevent experiencing gaps in your care.
