Feeling sick, in pain, or just not quite right, or are you looking to enhance your already healthy habits?

A properly working nervous system is essential for good wellbeing.

Unfortunately nerves become interfered with when joints, that normally protect your nerves, become jammed, unstable or misaligned, upsetting your wellbeing. We call these subluxations.

Sometimes you may feel this as a muscular ache, joint pain, headache, or notice that you are more susceptible to colds and flu’s. Usually however you won’t notice anything initially because our bodies have an amazing ability to adapt. It’s not until after months or years of poor communication between your brain and body that you begin to notice symptoms.

At Parade Chiropractic we specialise in restoring the integrity of your nervous system with specific gentle adjustments.

Dr Simon Porteous

Dr Porteous uses a variety of chiropractic adjustments, some you will hear a popping sound, similar to when you open a bottle of champagne and some he will use a mechanical instrument. When deciding on the right care for you Dr Porteous considers the type of subluxations you have, your age, the health of your bones and joints plus many other factors.

When the nervous system becomes free from interference after chiropractic adjustments it’s amazing what happens. Acute and chronic pains disappear, flexibility improves, breathing and digestion improve, vision and hearing improves.

We have created this website to help you see our practice and what we have to offer. We hope you will learn more about how your body works and what you can do to keep it healthy now, in 5, 10, 20 years and beyond.
